‘Ink Jets’ (Jets d’encre)

The non-profit organisation “Ink jets” (les jets d’encre) actively promotes and supports youth journalism projects across France, such as school newspapers, club newsletters and university newspapers. They defend the rights of these organisations against censorship, provide a calendar of national activities to create networking opportunities between organisations, and provide resources through their website for these organisations to set up within the legal framework provided under French law. They also provide a ‘Youth Press Card’ which allows access to some otherwise restricted areas and materials.

With Clara Boyle, we designed and created a new website on WordPress to replace their existing website. The website features a custom-developed and interactive ‘Youth Press Map’ which lists all youth press organisations across France.
